This month saw the publication of the second full Benchmarking report from the Mapping and Benchmarking Annex (see here). The report looks at the energy performance of televisions across a number of markets including Australia, Austria, China, the EU, France, Republic of Korea, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
The benchmarking process looks at a range of key energy performance indicators for LCD, plasma and CRT televisions highlighting differences in performance between countries. It also reviews policies and cultural issues in the different markets and uses these to make a series of recommendations to Policy Makers.
This report and others from the Annex are available along with the product definitions and individual country mapping documents via the Mapping and Benchmarking outputs matrix.
